“Volunteers” by Jefferson Airplane was heard often on the quad during late 1969 into the spring of 1970. It was a time of major student involvement in the anti war movement. For me this song was an important anthem for that movement. Whenever I hear it I think of Colgate and those involved in trying to end the war.
